It's great how stories can grow like that, I experience a similar thing when doing my prompts, I usually have no idea what to write and it just grows. I believe they call that 'Seating'.

I had a similar experience for a book trilogy I want to write. One character was bad and to the side, now she changes sides, having seen that she is wrong, and is a major character.
An original take on the prompt. A multiverse traveling caveman. I enjoyed it alot.
