Another "update"
and an apology
First of all, good day my friends and readers. For starters, I’d like to apologize for the, in my opinion, horrendous way I have been publishing Conquest and Glory. I tried to stay to once a week on Wednesdays, sometimes it was a day or two late, some more, some a week. That is unacceptable.
I know I’m bad with setting schedules, but from here on out until conquest and glory is finished, it’ll be every two weeks, as one week just isn’t enough time for me to finish a chapter. I feel rushed and that I’m not able to give it my best, and that is something I do not want to do with my writing.
Once Conquest and Glory is finished, I will finish An Old Wives’ Tale, no, I haven’t forgotten about it, I’ve been writing Conquest and Glory. That will be once every two or three weeks.
Once both of those are done, I will be stepping away from Substack for some time. I’m not going anywhere permanently, I’m just doing what I should do to finish a project I want to, and then post it here, and maybe self publish it if its good enough. During that time, probably a couple months at the very least, I will give the occasional update and maybe some thoughts, maybe a sneak peak or two, and a possible some micro fiction until I am done and start sharing the chapters every week. The draft is finished, it just needs some serious revision and polishing, as well as a title and illustrations, at least a cover.
However, next week there will be no Conquest and Glory, as I got a desire to write something sci fi, so in a week or two, probably two, depending on how long this takes, you’ll have a sci fi short story, then after that will be finishing up loose ends.
I hope you all can forgive me my bad schedules, and know that this time, short of serious illness or injury, I will strive my hardest to stay with it. After this all is done, who knows what will be next.
God bless and have a great day,
Harold Ember

I am very bad with schedules myself so I am not going to tell you anything... 🤪
And congratulations for winning the Lunar Award. I am reading it tomorrow and commenting. 📖
